[EDIT] This character design (previously known as Syrr) now belongs to coywolfe officially [EDIT]
Did this illustration on 11th of August for a Charity project;
Our charity art book donates 100% of the proceeds to the non-profit organization American Cancer Society. Also, depending how the project works out, some of the profits may also be used to create/publish a coloring book for impoverished kids in New Jersey. The book itself will be about 8.5"x11" sized and have more than 100 artists participating.
I was allowed to upload the full work now, and if you want to buy one copy for yourself I believe you still can order it here; quixotic-artbook.weebly.com/in…
I really like this one a lot! I think it is the flowers. Oh my, what are they called, or are they something you made up? They make the entire image seem to pop.
The male figure here, the way you drew him he seems both calm and relaxed but he seems a little... I don't know, intimidating, or maybe superior. I like the foxes idea as well the molding them together as one is very nice. Also The way you paint fur is really neat I think. It look so fluffy and real. Great work, and I might just have to beg my boyfriend to help me get a copy of the book. We are a little pressed for money at the moment but if it is still open at the end of the month I might get the money for it.
Sadly have no idea how it is called. I used reference photos because I had strict imagination what sort of flowers I would want to, and needed reference to catch my imagination correctly )
The goal of this work was a bit of arrogant stubbornness which clings in its own Life over everything. The background washed away city is partially our today problems with urbanization and technology over the nature and fruits of the nature. Used different contrasts there, wanted to make the foreground look really life like and something which can survive everything while the background pale, static and dry, lifeless.
Hmm hope you can nail to order one, I seen the illustrations others did and some of them are really outstanding and great! )
Thank you very much! I was so happy to win chance to be part of this project and so canīt wait to see it in the book with the other wonderful works printed in my hands! I enjoyed working with this one a lot, could put lots of feelings and emotions behind this one )
