I recently watched a Korean animation; Yobi, the five tailed fox and it was amazing and very inspirational to make a bit of fan work of the show.
I highly recommend to watch the movie as well it was really touching and great one. ( [link] )

I really hate to make fan works personally so very rare when I actually really do, but this one was one of those which just worth my time and the efforts. )

If you like this work you may like these too;

This is wonderful. I finished watching the movie a few hours ago and I searched up the movie to see fan arts or scenes re drawn and I found this. This is the best drawing I found of the movie.

I didn't like the ending though.

It depends from which side you looking it actually. I really loved the ending game it had depth in it and the result of it was a moment which was needed to win justice to the sacrifice.

[Spoiler ahead]

But in other hand the result was disappointing on a different way especially that it was kinda a restart the way a common human just not waits from a tale "become a human while you are something fantastic" not why some people want to watch a tale. But as the common gumiho/kitsune stories all talk about that they want to become a human it gives justice to that part.

Even though this fact can be understood many-many ways. The legends and fandom around these mythological foxes grew pretty strong and people not want to imagine that these creatures rated lower then human beings overall, regarding the thing why they would want to become one if they have amazing powers to possess and skills and immortality, yet they seeking to be a "common human" which surely looks less "powerful" then what them.

To cut it short, the much I loved the ending the much I despise it in the same time. But this was that ending what made the movie a bit remarkable, it can puzzle people a bit. )

Yeah,I guess I respect it since I've never really had an unhappy-ish ending I've liked.But I think the reason I didn't like it was that there was no follow-up. :D I just like wondering what happens.
